Predominantly focused in the North West, the LiFe network is owned by RAW Charging, which took ownership of the LiFe network in November 2021.
The LiFe taxi network comprises a small number of taxi-only charge points in and around Sheffield, which can be accessed with the PAYG LiFe app or RFID card.

LiFe taxi network access
Drivers are required to send a copy of their taxi license to helpdesk@franklinenergy.co.uk in order to be granted access to taxi-only charge points.
Once approved, access to the LiFe taxi network is via the PAYG LiFe app or RFID card – both of which are free to download/acquire. Payment is either taken from a credit or debit card linked to the customer’s account after the charge, or credit can be added to the account beforehand.
Finding LiFe taxi points on Zapmap
All LiFe taxi points can be found on Zapmap by using the network and access filters. These can be used on the desktop and mobile apps, and display only those points operated by LiFe that are taxi-only.
Charging types and speeds can be filtered too, showing only those points that are compatible with users’ cars.
