The Osprey public EV charging network has a simple focus – pay-as-you-go rapid charging. As Zapmap’s launch partner, Osprey’s charge points were the first to be Zap-Pay enabled, allowing Zapmap users to pay for charging at more than 600 rapid chargers through the app.
The network became Osprey in October 2020, having previously been known as Engenie. No membership is required, with drivers using Zap-Pay, contactless bank card payment or the Osprey app on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Osprey network access
Access to the Osprey network can be made via Zap-Pay, with payment through a credit or debit card. EV drivers will also be able to track live status when away from the vehicle, charging history, and access VAT receipts across networks, ensuring control and saving time. Alternatively, a contactless credit or debit card or the Osprey app can be used to access and pay for charging.
Finding Osprey points on Zapmap
All Osprey points can be found on Zapmap by using the network filter. This can be used on the desktop and mobile apps, and displays only those points operated by Osprey.
Charging types and speeds can be filtered too, showing only those points that are compatible with users’ cars.
