ChargePlace Scotland is a national network of EV charge points, operated by SWARCO on behalf of the Scottish Government.

The network requires users to first sign up with an account, before they can then access ChargePlace Scotland charge points via either RFID card or smartphone app. Many charge points are free to access once the account has been set up, including rapid chargers and units on key tourist routes.

All ChargePlace Scotland points can be found on Zapmap by using the network filter. This can be used on the desktop and mobile apps, and displays only those points available to use by ChargePlace Scotland customers.

Charging types and speeds can be filtered too, showing only those points that are compatible with users’ cars.
