esb energy charging network

ESB Energy is a network of fast and rapid charge points in the UK concentrated in London, Coventry and Birmingham.

ESB Energy’s charge points can be accessed with Zap-Pay or the ESB app or RFID card, with both pay-as-you-go and subscription options available. The vast majority of their charge points also offer contactless payment. The network has both taxi-only and public-use points, with access requirements the same across the ESB Energy network.

Finding ESB Energy points on Zapmap

All ESB Energy points can be found on Zapmap by using the network filter. This can be used on the desktop and mobile apps, and displays only those rapid points available on the ESB Energy network.

ESB is both a Zap-Pay partner and a dynamic data partner, providing a live feed of points that helps to show the most up-to-date charge point information possible. This means Zapmap can show if a charge point is in use, available or out of service direct from the network alongside Zapmap user updates.

About ESB Energy

The ESB Energy network is run by ESB, and a number of the network’s charge points are operated on behalf of TfL as part of London’s rapid EV charging infrastructure roll-out.

ESB has been operating EV public charging networks since 2010 in Ireland, and developed the island-wide EV charging infrastructure – with networks in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

As a Zap-Pay partner and dynamic data partner, all ESB EV charging networks display live status information on Zapmap desktop and app.
