D2N2 is a regional public EV charging network covering Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Operated by Charge Your Car on behalf of the local authorities’ Go Ultra Low Cities project.

Access to the D2N2 network is made via either an RFID card, smartphone app, or contactless credit / debit card.

Membership cost (residents): £20 per annum for RFID card

Cost per charge: D2N2 residents – 20p/kWh (minimum of £1 charged) for both fast and rapid units

Contactless bank card - D2N2 Rapid - 30p/kWh, bp pulse rapid - 35p/kWh

Polar Plus members retain 12p/kWh rate

Alternatively, drivers can use a bp pulse network card or key fob and pay standard bp pulse rates from just 16p per kWh (inclusive of VAT) on charge points outside of the D2N2 network plus a monthly subscription of £7.85.

How to use the the D2N2 Network

Access to the D2N2 network is made via either an RFID card, smartphone app, or contactless credit / debit card. Payment is then taken from a credit or debit card linked to the customer’s account after the charging session is complete.

Finding D2N2 points on Zapmap

d2n2 -filters

All D2N2 points can be found on Zapmap by using the network filter. This can be used on the desktop and mobile apps, and displays only those points operated by D2N2.

Charging types and speeds can be filtered too, showing only those points that are compatible with users’ cars.
